!! This bio is a draft and will be changed later !!
Jon is the band's leader, he always does banter onstage, always tries to rally people together, always
willing to hear out on what others have to say. Jon is very eccentric and eclectic, much like the band as a
whole. Unlike the band as a whole he's very flash. Jon liked looking weird. In early shows he would draw on
eyebrows and a mustache and wear small dangly earrings. The need to stand out eventually resulted in him wearing dresses and makeup. Although, very sad to
me, he does not do this anymore.
Jon began studying the keyboards at a young age, as his father was also a musician, and he went to college for
music in Scotland, which is the complete other side of the UK to his birthplace of Jersey! There he met George, Stevie and Peter. Jon studied the
organ (which is heard on songs such as The Last Film) and orchestral percussion (which is not used on any KTP song). Jon then took
a postgraduate course at London's Royal College of Music.
Jon also did the visuals for the W-fest performance. that seems notable.
There will be a small gallery of drawings and links to more pages at the bottom of this page. Such as press he is featured in, more pedantic details on him singing songs, etc.
