One of the newest of the British bands, Kissing The Pink showed why they are one of the brightest hopes for 1984 Saturday evening,
before a packed house; incorporating influences as diverse as Talking Heads and Duran Duran, they created a dense, passionate wall
of music, built around a percussive base, augmented by saxophone and violin on several tunes. Quite obviously this sound has found
a solid following locally, and we would look forward to hearing more from this band in the not too distant future.
