No, it's not about the spy. Busy production with drummer banging away like mayhem and a lively vocal. Very engaging. I found this original and exciting. (Paul Screeton)

Debut single from a new band. Not an infectious one, but the lead vocalist could well develop the group sound. Maybe their visual promotion would help the record, otherwise it could be a non-runner.

Recent signings to the Magnet label, "Kissing the Pink" could find themselves with a hit on their hands, with "Mr Blunt".

Produced by Colin Thurston of Duran Duran, the single is commercial enough to make people sit up and take notice. The band are currently working on their first album, again with technical help from Thurston, and plan to play some live dates soon.

Storming record from a new band. Beatles type lyrics, chanted vocals, hefty and pulsing production, and psychedelic horns swirl in for the finish.
