Fairly cheering pop-rock with a solid synth base and a strong soul-ish female chorus line. With a little radio pressure, they could squeeze a chart placing, I'm sure. (Jim Whiteford)

KTP have been knocking on the door for some time now, without getting a reply. With this reasonable three minutes of frenzied gimmickry, they might get to look through the letterbox, but definitely won't be allowed to stand on the doormat. (John Lee)

Still chasing the follow-up to 1983's The Last Film, this is an attractive single with a stirring guitar base which could possibly do the trick. A new album is in the pipeline.

Kissing The Pink are still probably best known to most people for their early hit The Last Film.

Never Too Late To Love You is the title of their new offering on Magnet Records which will be followed up by an LP.

The band has undoubted ability but I'm not convinced this is strong enough to break into the charts. (Andy Hurst)

Great dance floor track featuring smashing vocals from Nick Whitecross and a big, powerful production from Simple Minds producer Pete Walsh. I like it.

Now down to a quartet and an abbreviated name, Kissing The Pink return to the scene with this entirely mesmeric Pete Walsh pruduced[sic] beaut of a single from their upcoming 'Certain Things Are Likely' album. A possible charter. Available on 12".

KTP used to be Kissing the Pink and they give fans a new smackeroonie in the catchily overlayed "Never Too Late To Love You"

Remember the excellent, The Last Film, well this couldn't really be much different, but like Heaven 17 they have mastered modern pop to make a great tune. (Paul Benbow)

Notes: Earlier in this review column, the author also reviewed Heaven 17's song "Contenders".

I really enjoyed this record, very catchy and quite reminiscent of The Style Council - well structured backing vocals, good rhythm and a memorable tune. After two or three plays it really grows on you and you find yourself whistling it while walking to work. Deserves to be number one but it'll be lucky to make the top 40 now I've said that. The cover is quite attractive too, very arty but no posy photographs of the band on it - they came with the press hand-out. A nice record though, a real foot-tapper. I just hope it doesn't sink without a trace.
