Transcript

Although formed in the early 80s, Kissing The Pink's present line-up only dates back to 1986, together with a new sound and new style. Their Pete Walsh (Simple Minds) produced single 'One Step' was a big hit in Italy (reaching number 2) and Holland, and the band is signed through PolyGram in the USA where this pop/dance record climbed to no. 5 in the Dance Charts. Magnet Records will release the new single 'Certain Things Are Likely', another Walsh production, at the end of March and a European tour is scheduled this spring.

Notes

Written by Machgiel Bakker.
Certain Things Are Likely was also on the list of "sure hits" near the end of the magazine.
Interesting that they weren't relegated to being called "KTP".
