Simon Aldridge

I know very little about Simon. He vexes me.

Simon joined the band via Jon's friend Jamie being a classmate with him at art college. Simon probably lived with the band after Jamie invited him, though this is technically not confirmed.

Simon is known to have played guitar and bass on What Noise? and Certain Things Are Likely. He himself has claimed to have played session work on Naked and even done some vocal work with the band but I cannot find any specifics about this so let's just ignore it.

He left the band in early 1989. Simon has worked at the record labels ZTT, Columbia, and BMI as A&R. He claims to have signed various prestigious artists like Seal and Pet Shop Boys. By 2006, Simon became Kissing the Pink's publisher, but it's unknown if he's still in the band. It's also unknown if he played instruments on the two 2015 albums. He is confirmed to have at least been in the room, but who knows if any of that made it to the final work.

What is known however is that he currently lives in Wales with his wife Kiran Sidhu and they have a cat named Sprout.
