Stevie first befriended George, Peter Jon while the latter three were attending the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Though he did not attend the school itself.

Stevie was always intended to be Kissing the Pink's drummer, but was unavailable when they started out, only joining after the band released Don't Hide In The Shadows.

After Stevie left the band, he moved to Portugal.
